I've started doing some buildings from Command & Conquer in isometric (My first real try at iso), I hope to create some battle scene when I have made enough buildings and units. As this is my first try, I could really do with criticism, and advice on the isometric style. The buildings I have done so far are: (Images of the original C&C) ![]()
I'm not very happy with the satellite dish on the Airstrip, or the grip of the hand on the Hand of Nod. EDIT: I seem to be having soem trouble with the images :/ I'll try and fix them. It seems to be caused by the '&' which is being buggered up by the Image adding thingy. Fixed, but I made this post look awful ;P. Edited by Ragzouken - 08 September 2006 at 6:29am |

Well you've done really well. The white slopy thing however uses 2,1,1,2,1,1,2 lines which should never be used in iso pieces. This item may needs to be modified a bit using 3,3,3,3,3 lines or else drawn in a different angle to be in true iso perpective. You may want to try not using black outlines here too.
