Hi everybody, I’m a programmer and I’m looking for some graphics help with a game. Although the game is already playable, the characters and graphics style is pretty much totally open so hopefully you’ll have lots of creative freedom.
I expect most of the art needed will be tiles and sprites, but there also backgrounds and menu graphics too that could do with a proper artists touch. The game runs at 800x600 and uses proper 32bit colour so sprites can be pretty big and no more colour restrictions or jaggy transparency. The Game The game is called “Quix”, but that’s just a working title and probably going to change at some point. It’s a fast paced platformer where the goal is to herd a bunch of sheep against the clock. You can see a bunch more screenshots here. ![]() It’s currently playable and has about 6 levels, but all the art is my limited programmer art so there’s very little cohesion. This is a totally for-free project, all the money to support the website, source control, etc. comes out of my own pocket and the game will be freeware when finished. You can see some of my previous games on my website. If you’re interested then you can contact me by leaving a reply here, or by sending a private message. Happy pixeling!
