This one heck of a work in progress. I don't very often draw human figures from this point of view... which is obvious... cause of how much is sucks right now... I just noticed she's missing a finger >_>
Mostly I can't figure out how her legs should look. I've looked at lots of pictures which aren't helping it seems... and it appears that she has scoliosis or something which is not by any means what I intended.
help me :(

Hello Brena,
Without a reference picture it is hard to adjust a piece 'by memory' or 'until it looks right' Maybe you could ask a person to take on the pose (Even with clothes on!) When I first looked at the image it made me think of Ingres. Please use Google, Picture search and type in this painter. The pose is not actually there, but you will find a lot of similar poses. Especially the spine-curve will be helpfull. You made me smile about the fingers because I could not find it until a bit later on ![]() I suggest removing the fingers all together. If really needed, then you should make the pose even more collopsed because you would really need to stretch in order for the hand to come that far up the shoulder. I will be interested to see if you can fix this without a proper reference. I was amazed that you didn't even used a reference picture and made what you have without it! Best regards from M.E. |
