In celebration of Static-X's new album, Cannibal, coming out on April 3rd, I decided to do a animated iso sprite of the entire band, starting with Mr. Wayne Static himself:
 Theres still some highlighting I want to finish up, but Im hating how it looks nothing like him whatsoever. That will come with ref pics I guess. Is there anything glaringly obvious about the technique side? Somethings totally off about the sprite. Its bugging the crap outta me and I can't seem to fix it.

Well, I'm no expert, trust me...but when I looked the picture, it looks as though he is wearing a hat. Like a marching band hat; really tall.
The beard looks like a chin strap and on the left side of the "hair", that one pixel that sticks out is probably what is making me think it is a hat, It makes the hair almost too square.
Again, just my humble and way under-qualified opinion.

An update. I worked on the hair a bit based off of some pics. I like the shape better, I will work on the highlighting soon. Face has been shifted slightly as has the guitar.
