Me and some friends recently created a new freeware gaming studio/community called Viceroy Studios. Viceroy is a community-based enterprise gaming studio dedicated to creating freeware games. Basically, we make free games, and everyone helps out. That being said, this is also a good place for beginner and intermediate gamecrafters to test their skills, and voluntarily be a part of something big.

That being said, our first project is underway, and it is a vertical scroller, ship based (similiar to raiden) powered by gamemaker. We need a variety of talented pixel artists (sprites, backgrounds, and animations) to help get this off the ground. If anyone is interested, Pm me or sign the guestbook at the website. This is a completely voluntary job, and just a sprite or two even would be helpful.
