American buidings don't have 13th floors, goes from 12 to 14. Why? cuz we're awesome that way :p

In some countries, the number 13 is considered unlucky and building owners will sometimes purposely omit the thirteenth floor. Even landlords who are not themselves superstitious realize that the rentability of suites on the 13th floor might be compromised because of superstitious tenants, or commercial tenants who fear superstitious customers."

So the 13 floor is a just a fairy tail. I have and a close friend of my have both had apartments on the 13 floor. Plus I think if the 13 floor was added there would be a good theme for that. Like a floor were every scene dipicted some think bad lucky happening.
