Topic: Pixeljoint IRC

When i try and get on the Pixel Joint IRC it comes up with an Internet Explorer error page saying "Some content or files on this webpage require a program that you don't have installed."

I have tried searching, and found a download, but i cannot seem to install it because its a .tar.gr file or something of the kind. Any help would be much appreciated because i would like to get on the IRC.

1- Download Firefox browser (not IE)
2- Install 'Chatzilla' from the add-ons/extensions list on the Firefox page.
3- Click 'IRC Channel (PixelJoint) from the
community' drop-down menu in the gallery.
4- Behave once you arrive at #pixeljoint

Yes you told me that, but im not allowed to download FireFox on this computer. This is my dads computer i am using at the moment because mine isn't working. When i get mine back i will download Mozilla but in the meantime is there any other way?

Sorry to be a pain, but i went on there, and it loaded up a java applet. It isnt a download to help me get on the PJ chat because i still cannot get on it, is there a download?. Comes up with the same error.

EDIT: Dont worry, i downloaded mIRC. I'm on now but noone is talking :S

The java applet is a client that slashnet provides for those not willing/able to use a standalone client. It can connect to channels on the slashnet server, including #pixeljoint. But I guess this doesn't really matter, though, since you got mIRC.
