Hi, my name is Fredrik, I'm 19, and in my last year of (Swedish) High-School.
As a school project I chose to make a game in C#. It ended up being a small puzzle platformer.
I've put 50 hours into it so far and I have another 50 to go.

Game screenshot:

I tried my best but this is the best I could come up with after messing around with Photoshop.
That's where you come in!

What I would like to get help with is:
  • Main text logo (game name is "Pluppman" but that can be changed)
  • Simple button graphics (Clicked and not)
  • 5-6 tiles
  • Player and enemy graphics
You will get as much or little freedom as you want when it comes to style, look and all that.
And of course, full blingin' credit!

The cash part:
Since I am pretty much broke and in debt, and this is for school, I don't want to spend too much money. But I do have $3.92 (USD) in my PayPal account, and I could increase it just a little bit if it's necessary...

you might as well as make this unpaid, because $4 is about the quality you have now.

Just wondering, why do you need good graphics if it's all about programming?
Would existing game tiles not suffice?
EDIT:
Could you also be more specific about how many individual frames/sprites you need for characters?
I might take this up if you accept my offer and I find enough time... :/

Well, it's not part of a programming course, it's a "project" they call it.
They basically put the grade according to how professional I've been about the whole thing, how it looks and feels. The final product, you know?

About the characters; I was only thinking one sprite for the player and one for the bad guys.
I'll use as many or few frames as you feel you have time for, I'll adapt it.
Ideal would be though, if there was one animation for walking, one frame for standing and one simple animation for shooting. (Maybe just the upper part of the body, so the legs can keep running or something?)

Please do get it touch with me if you feel you have the time!

You need good graphics (or the best possible) because when you play a game its the visuals that keep you interested not the programming.

Good luck with your project, I hope someone here helps you out.

Its a mix of how smooth the game plays, how it looks, and how it sounds if you ask me.

It sounds like a really fun project due to how small it is and how open it is, and if I had the time I'd love to help, but I don't. So good luck finding someone and be sure to let us know when its done =)

Yes! Sorry for not posting!
Hectic times, these.

Vidd is doing an insanely good job and I can't wait to show the game off a little bit when it's finished!

Thank you Vidd! :D
