We have immediate opportunities in the following positions.

2D Game Artist

Responsibilities

• Create high quality 2D art and animation for games and applications on mobile devices
• Maintain art assets using version control
• Communicate well with designers, producers, artists, QA, and engineers

Required skills

• Pixel art experience (sprites, environments, tiling, icons, UI, fonts, palettes, and animation)
• Background in traditional art
• Expert skills with Photoshop
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Must work well in a team environment

Additional skills

• Development experience on mobile or handheld platforms
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Passion for playing and creating games

Education

• Bachelors in fine arts/ graphic design or illustration or equivalent experience

Office Location We have openings for this position in our Vancouver studio situated in Yaletown

Compensation Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
