Go to www.imageshack.us and click on the "browse" button, select your image and click "host it!". Go to the "Direct link to image" line, which is most probably at the bottom, select and copy it (this is the URL of the image), then when you're posting a message, click on the little tree icon above the typing box and paste the URL in the box provided and click ok. Alternatively just paste the URL here and put img tags around it, like so; [img*]URL[/*img] (without the asterisks.
Make sure the image you host is a png or gif. Once you get the hang of it it's very simple. You can host images on other hosting sites too, such as Photobucket. I use photobucket cus when you sign up you get a lot of space. Tis free. Edited by Larwick - 12 November 2007 at 9:24am |
