Hi, I'm Alex, currently working on a project with a colleague of mine.
We don't have a name for it, (or the "company")
but it's a Top-down 2D shooter, based on java-language.
Well, to get to the point, we're in need of two things:

- Background/UI Spriter [Background tileset for levels and UIs such as HP/MP bar]
- Character Spriter [charcter/weapon/effect animations]

http://www.freewebs.com/yanivgames/raptor.html

The link will above will take you to what we have of the project so far.

(When you click start, I know the game starts frozen. It's not; it's simply
loading the necessary things and it just takes a while; just give it a few seconds.
We haven't put in a loading screen yet, so it does that.. ^^;;
)

I've been sampling/editing/drawing the sprites in myself from other games such as
'parodius,' but I have to admit that i'm way too limited in my spriting ability to produce anything that I want,
and that's the main reason why I'm here. ^^
I understand that it's extremely undeveloped at this stage. We do have
tons of ideas/systems for the game,

(Such as actual levels/progression, skills/abilities, different player/enemy ships,
items/sidekicks/weapons, different layers of planes, BGM/SE, possible online multiplayer capability...etc.
We'll have to see how much we can do, but we're planning a fairly large-scaled/polished project for its final status
.)

but we couldn't really implement them right with out the required resources, such as character/UI/background graphics.
I just figured that showing what we can do is much better than just texts. :)

Although I'd love to, unfortunately we can't pay you for the work; We don't have that kind of money... sorry. >.<;;
[However, I can and will personally send you a sort of "thank-you" payment. But  it won't be anything close to an actual salary..
again, sorry for our weak financial base..'_'//]

If you are interested in working with us, or have any question, please feel free to contact me at: yspark901@msn.com
I'd be happy to answer any questions about the games or any other general wonderments.

Thank you! ^^
