I'm in desperate need of finding a good non-pixel art program. I can't afford photoshop, and I would have nothing left if I bought painter. I have tried activating photoshop with a serial from the web, but I can't get it to work, and as soon as I just touched the subject of getting serial from the web my topic on www.conceptart.org closed the topic... I've got half a photoshop trial left, and no idea what to do after that xD

GIMP is free. I hear it's very similar to Photoshop.

Oh, sorry, forgot to say this; I have GIMP, but my idiotic tablet doesn't work in it...

That's very very strange, a tablet works just like a mouse. Does your tablet have problems with other software too?

Hmm artweaver actually looks like painter... And no, my tablet only have problems with GIMP dra_chan.

Its very stupid that tablets wont work with everything. I stopped using MTpaint when I figured my tablet did not work on it.
As metaru said, paint.net is a great free program. |

So, paint.net is actually a non-pixel program? Sorta like GIMP or what? I thought it was mostly pixelart xD

Sorry for double post, but paint.net ain't that good. I see no way to shade, actually. It has no airbrush, and no smudge tool...
