Hello! I am the developer of the rpg Cute Knight and currently at work on the sequel. I am looking for someone comfortable with animating low-color sprites to do a fair amount of work over a long period of time.

I will need:

ONE sprite walking in 4 directions (yes, just one!)

LOTS of looping 'idle' animations, for different characters who stand around, so that they can be breathing/swaying/fiddling/whatever instead of just standing like statues

LOTS of looping 'activity' animations, when a character is performing a particular task

I cannot, at this point, say how many of them there will be. We're still early in development. Also, how much art I have tends to vary depending on how quickly artists get things done. If you're fast, I'll keep paying you and keep piling more things on you. If you're really slow, I'll cut corners or get someone else to take up the slack.

Paying people via paypal is simplest especially when dealing with an ongoing project where I am assigning one sprite at a time. If you have special payment needs, tell me, and I'll see if we can work something out. I will pay for each sprite when it is done and accepted... you don't have to wait around for me to turn a profit.

I don't know what a fair rate is, I have usually done my own pixel art (and I have static versions of all the characters already pixeled). The size is about 40x100. Please PM me or write to owner at hanakogames with your per-animation rates and links to some pixel work you have done before.

I am more interested in your ability to animate than your ability to evoke the most beautiful smooth shading in low-color. Also, remember that this is an ongoing project - I will keep assigning new things for at least several months.

I am a proven developer, I have many freelancers around who can verify that I pay on time, and this game will be finished even if I have to pixel it myself. I used to hang out back in the pixelation days, I was just never terribly good at it. :)
