This is a special web program that can generate a palette report and create a limited swatch palette for any picture submitted in high, low, and mid ranges. It can also show the hex code for all colors in the palette, and compare colors.

There's a one megabyte upload limit, and it supports png and gif, our favorite formats. You can upload a file from your machine or link to a remote file.

It would definitely be useful for palette selection if you have a picture with a certain range of colors you want to emulate, or if you're referencing off an existing image.
