Wow this has great potential,if you manage to pixel it up,than its going to be awesome,if you will try.

For critique, what bothers me mostly is that guy who is throwing the rock at that bear-walrus thing that his arm is wrinkled up, deformed and unlikely try to repair it, that guy who is poking him has very weird way of holding that spear I would draw him with classical thrust, you know what I mean, another man that bothers me is that logger he is holding the axe like a snake, I would make him more dynamic, I would give him overhead ready to chop so it would look dynamic, that woman that is partially nude has longer right arm than left and her leg looks like cat leg. Otherwise good job with those people. Now for vegetation. Background of those mountains are nice done, but one thing bothers me the absence of forests and those odd looking trees, rivers good and I would add cave to that mountain. Those people need to rest somewhere so some tents near river would be excellent. As mentioned before I would make that walrus-bear like thing more defined, I would add a predator for that mammoth and that rhino in background is weird like something off topic.Adding some rocks to water would be more realistic.

I hope that I have pointed out all things that bug me and how to improve them, you dont have to follow them its just mine advice, I am looking forward on how it will be done and mainly if you finish it, if you finish it, it will be one heck of a pixel art.

First and foremost, something always to remember: Pixel art is just that, art. In other words, it should be treated like any other artform. Therefore, it's much wiser to get your basics down, before adding the icing to the cake. I suggest, you start with your volumes, and lighting, before you start dithering, as it will save you some much needed time, and head aches.

Secondly, ALL PIXEL ART PIECES DO NOT NEED TO BE DITHERED!! Over dithering can clutter a piece, and overshadow the basics of a piece. So only use the technique WHEN YOU REALLY NEED TO.(ie, rough tectures, or smoother blending of pieces with limited palettes...passing off an almost fully dithered piece as "styleish" is quite silly, if you ask me...) I think this is something that most beginners don't understand. They overuse this technique, and don't quite understand it's function, which is why I suggest working out your volumes first, so you can see a better, rough blue print of how you can approach detailing....
