So my peice was rejected.  It was an alien amphibian, one of my boring and stupid works, but it claimed it didn't meet the standards of PJ?  What's going on?
Link to it otherwise:

Could you please explain why this was not allowed?  It's very frustrating.
[e]  It need revision apparently.

I don't think it's so bad.

you don't think anything is so bad.

the shading is done in wide bands that work against the piece, as your shading should also be used to create planes, thus adding volume. all in all the piece is really just too small and too simple for what it is; it takes a veteran pixel pusher to make smaller pieces look good.

work larger, think about your subject matter in three dimensions when you shade.

Gee, thanks.  -.-

But yes, I'd have to agree with you--unless there is a program that shades it for you, I will fail miserably for the rest of my life.  It's actually made for a site called Marapets and my shading has never been nor never will be completely well done.

Also, I think she was referring to the fact that it isn't so bad, as not offensive.

There are some stuff with this that need fixing:

  • There are lots of extra colors
  • The background is white. (Should be transparent)
  • There is some pillow-shading
  • It looks too flat
  • and the things said above

I made an edit: (with fewer colors (8), you had 14 colors)
