I was going to, but I thought it'll be easier for people to just import it in the image, etc...

You probably do, you cannot open them as you would open an image... you have to open or create your new image file, and then import the palette to it. It should be really easy process, and I'm pretty sure most pixelart programs out there allow this.

What program do you use btw?

I updated the main post, and added a new palette "Seiken densetsu 3" one... I also removed the AW and my incompleted palette... oh, and for those of you who asked, I now included the .png files... there, I made it a lot easier this time around.

If you want to preview the palette pictures, go to my site.

I updated it again... added 5 more palettes, under a new .zip file available to download.

I am by far not interested enough to download this, even though it sounds good.

Again, the question:

Why are you too lazy to post them as images?
Readers are lazy already (so noone downloads it)
If topic starters get lazy too, that is going to be baaad

lol If I was lazy I wouldn't spend 2 hours each time extracting colors and downloading / screenshotting a bunch of sprites from games just to get the colors out of them for people to use in their pieces.

On my opinion, if someone is lazy enough to not be able to click on a simple link to get the material, I can't think how they can make pixel art in the first place, since it's an skill that requires a lot of patience and perseverance... a lot more than a couple of "right clicks + save image as..." from a page. Besides you just grab the palette that you think suits your style or needs.

"no pain no gain"

this isn't a bad idea, but in all honesty people could find palettes from games they need very easily. and good emulators usually allow you to get the palette from the screen your viewing anyway.
