Heya guys!
I haven't been doing pixels lately but i was just taking a rest from a MW2 game and i decided to pixel my favorite gun of all the CoD series. ![]() My problem is that i don't quite get how to pick out the right colours for the thing to look like metal. Take a look at a reference, notice how light highlights the different parts.
![]() Light is reflected around a lot. Like meagz said, use high contrast. There are softer gradients and abrupt white->black transitions. Do you still have the version where you tried high constrast greys? If, so please post it. Here's a quick example: ![]() |
