It is a common phrase: "You have two thousand bad drawings in you, and once you get those done you start doing good ones". This is first one, so it is bad, and nobody likes to copy bad drawings...

But doing the rest 1999 bad drawings also is fun. If you seriously like to draw, I highly suggest you to read something about human proportions.

I read about proportions for the first time exactly at the age of 11.

This was what my drawings looked like when I was 11. (Not like I've improved much).
Anyways, yeah, just keep practicing. Draw from real life if you can. Get a mirror and draw what you see. Draw your cat, your mom, your little sister - you'll learn as you do this.

Agree with Tarenken.

Also, human beings are about the hardest things to draw (only because we're so good at looking at them and seeing much much more subtle detail than we'd see in anything else). So I'd also recommend to draw simple things too (from life!): stuff in your house, views from your windows, just anything. The point is to practice not to make nice stuff. To train your eye as well as your hand.

Also, just go and do pixel that char. Do it small: 100 pixels high max. It won't be good, but nobody's first pixel of a human being has ever been good.
Keep it simple at first: no fancy clothes or hair. Only stuff you can check in the mirror how it looks like before drawing. Then you can use it as a base and expand, when you're satisfied with it.

From that we'll be able to advise and, maybe, edit.

But no-one will pixel it for you outright. That's your job!
Art takes time, be patient.

I like your manga, the only thing I would do though is to make the face rounder... also, I and I'm pretty sure most other people don't juge the criticism we give by the age of the person who draws it.

Hey dude thx for having a good attitide about all this crit! and yes you do have to be 13 on here but whatev....
I think you should, for the next two years, do those 1999 more drawings, then come back and start pixeling. if it helps any, I was about as good as you when I was 11 and I'm 13 now. Here is my gallery to see the improvement. http://www.pixeljoint.com/p/25949.htm?pg=1&sec=icons   just keep practicing and you might be good somday.

Im guessing youre drawing the chin and then putting hair on top of it?  Draw the entire oval shape of the head then put hair on top of it.

if you put on oval where the entire shape of his head would be, youll see that on the right side of his head the hair doesnt go out far enough to cover that oval.
the proportions look better, but theres still problems, for one the head seems too big.  look more into proportions, pay close atention to how tall certain body parts are in comparison to others.  for example how many heads tall is the entire figure, how tall is the torso compared to the legs, how far do the arms go down?  also check the widths of things such as how wide is the waist compared to the shoulders.
also pay attention to the pose, even for a simple standing pose.  your guy has his feet together, most people tend to stand with their feet a little bit appart.  also check your hands, you have 6 fingers and hes standing with his palms facing outwards.
try looking up some drawing tutorials online if you havent already, but be warey of some cause some arent that good.

Hey Mozzie!

I really support new people getting into drawing and beyond.
Just a little tip. Don't let people on here blow you off your socks.
Take everything they say to heart and learn from it. They aren't here to annoy you, they are here to help you.

I suggest you keep drawing the same character about 10 times, then upload the first one and the last one. Take your time and also draw different things between them. This way you'll notice your improvements much faster.

What also helps is drawing a stickfigure first, to know in what kind of potition you want to place the character.

Me too really started drawing at the age of 10 and by looking at pictures from books (remember, no internet :P) it helped me change my view towards my drawing style. It helped me alot. Also, dont be ashamed to imitate someones style, imitation is the best way to create your own style.
As of now i still dont really have my own style, its more like a cross between things.
Everyone is always learning i guess.

I really look forward to your new drawing and I hope we can help you to become even better!

For the head, you should draw all of the head before adding hair. That way, you make sure the hair is larger than the head (It shouldn't be smaller) On your drawing, the hair is smaller, so it looks like you cut off a piece of his skull or something.
