Pixel Joint Forum: Where the Wild Things are

Message

After some epic failures while colouring a large human piece, I decided to take things down a notch and pixel something smaller and and a bit more "wild".

I'm working on Moishe (Carol in the movie) of Where the Wild Things are, and could use some C&C.

Things I'll probably add/change:
- Make him a bit more happy with a curvier smile.
- Pronounced / puffy cheeks instead of the flat ones he has now.
- His paw pad looks really bad somehow and need to fiddle with it to make it better.
- Hair/mane highlight (outer rim), maybe remove the texture lines all together.
- Background.

Let the wild rumpus (and tips) begin!

	Not entirely satisfied yet, but making progress. A more saturated palette, softer (colourized) contour lines and some Rumpus action in the background. Edited by Nomojo - 02 March 2010 at 3:41am
