Hi guys, a portrait for the challenge:
![]() What do you think? what can/should I improve, and what would be your visions on something like this? Please tell/show me, id love to learn ;) The yellow numbers remind me of how many colors I have left in each part, I wished I had more left in the bottom right corner :(.. (so I can do one color extra for the scarf, and keep the extra color for the eye) NEW VERSION ![]() Edited by Hapiel - 05 March 2010 at 1:34am |

Scarf definitely needs moar detail. Use that extra color in the bottom left to AA and add more shadings. Get rid of a skin color on bottom right so you can use the color from bottom left to also AA and more detail. :D Background shouldn't be visible where the hair parts at his forehead.
What's up with the pinkish line things at top and left? Backgrounds a bit plain, but its looking good ;) |

I really have no idea what to do with that scarf.. I might need to get rid of it, but then I have to think of another way to make this thing interesting after all..
Why do you find AA so important? AA is in my opinion only possible if I have a color that is already there anyway.. I now have 2 spare colors in the bottom right corner, and I am not sure yet where I need to go with this. Any suggestions? ![]() |
