I am a founder of DigitalNeo Online, we have created a few games in
past but are ready for our first large project. Our past work includes
serveral smaller MMORPGs (capped at 200 peopl due to server
limitations). Our current project RancerZero will require a few
artists. We require a sprite artist and a texture artist. The game is
in 2d, textures are still needed to environment. You will be free to
work from home on flex hours, however deadlines must not be missed.
-has to be able to work with alpha layered pngs
-send any work you can through e-mail or contact me through MSN
-hard edges are generally frowned up
Sprite position:
-atleast one work must be an alpha layered 128x192 png
Texture position:
- send examples of scenery and environmental art
- send atleast one example of a seamless tile
- send at least one example of scenery (tree, shrub) that is alpha layered
also send
your full name
age (will not be of great importance if you have skill)
hours per week you can work
wage requirements
anything else that you would like to add
Other notes:
look to seiken detsu 3 for stylistic basis. the game will be fantasy
based, i do not want to see anything like the popular plastic isometric
work.
work would not be starting for a few months, we are just organizing resumes

I just realized the bad luck this community has had in past. So i would like to clarify a few things.
- the artist will get fully credited
- we do have a budget with enough to keep you fed and clothed, if you like pixel art this is the job for you
- though this is our first commercial project we are not new to programming, we have a budget and we will make it happen
- i am scared by your negativity, it is possible that someone will
actually do well in business not just rip you off for free art. I dont
think i could string you along for the whole project without paying you
and it would be pointless to take a few sprites of yours at a time. The
game needs a consistent style.

got an email and/or website? Honestly, this sounds like a straightup kinda deal. It's too bad I haven't gotten into pixelling game stuff yet. Hopefully you'll get a bite here. Try pixelopolis as well as they tend to have alot more experienced spriters

well i wasn't going to post an e-mail address to wean out the people
who couldnt figure out to click my name but suppose it is alright.
send e-mails to: spy_sniper_2000@hotmail.com
and no we dont have a website, i find its kind of useless without art
not to mention the fact we don't want the general public to know about
it long before it is released or they will lose interest.
