Anybody here musicians? I play guitar, bass and piano. I own a Fender Telecaster ('tis my baby), some cheapy bass (I'm thinking of buying my friends Epiphone T-Bird) and I need a Midi keyboard to hook up to my computer, been playing music overall for about 5 years. I can play most styles on guitar, and compose for most of them, apart from classical guitar and I can't compose for blues, I haven't really tried to be honest. I need to learn some classical guitar, fingerpicking is so satisifying. Anybody else here play instruments? If so what do you play and what styles do you prefer to play/make music for/listen to? |

Hi musicians  ,
I'm a guitarist and songwriter, been in a couple of bands in the past, done a couple of gigs but nothing huge.
My favorite music is Hard Rock and Blues but I'll always find something great in all genres of music and my CD collection spans most stuff.
Been playing guitar and writing for over 20 years now and still dream of being a big rock star, but need to realise that i've missed that boat.
My main guitars are:

I've pixeled some of my amp gear on hear and hope to carry on with my guitars soon.

I play guitar and scream for a band.
We're local and small, but I hope to some day get a "real" gig as we've only played twice at my high school.
I love alternative and metal and punk rock music: stuff like Silverstein, We Came as Romans, Of Mice and Men, and Escape the Fate is what I'm wanting to sound like with my own band.
If you're wondering, I use a Line 6 half stack for an amplifier and a Fender Squire for a guitar.

I want to play my guitar now but my amp is too loud and I need to recieve some post :( I have a Fender Frontman 212R amp, Fender telecaster 2009, Fender hard case, Fender strap, Fender strings, Fender pick, yes, I'm a fender man :D If I had to get a gibson it would be a Gibson SG Supreme :D My favourite bands atm are; The Beatles Led Zeppelin Rainbow Them Crooked Vultures Kasabian The Prodigy Queens of the Stone Age The Foo Fighters Nirvana The Artic Monkeys Daft Punk Coldplay Celldweller Blue Stahli Muse Red Hot Chili Peppers Many more that I can't remember atm. I'm in a band but it's a family band, me, my cousin, his dad and my dad. Me on lead guitar/lead singer. When I go to college I'm going to form a band with my drummer friend, but we need a bassist. I already have like 11 songs that we're gonna play; once we find a competent bassist we can make an album :D |

I'm a guitar player mainly, but I own a bass an drums to. I've played all of them in different bands. And I compose allot of music style's, but mainly beatle like things, or eric clapton. But I try everything, from hip hop beats to classical music. From metal to blues. Anyways, been making noise now for around I guess.. mhh, 6/7 years now? I love making it. Started recently on chiptune-esk stuff, and mixing that with a real band. I have finisht one song, (a while ago tough).. Anyhow, I almost literally breath music. |

I mostly play guitar, it's been roughly 22 years now, also did 5 years of saxophone and some piano, but I don't feel really creative with these. I am currently learning the cello and I can't wait to master marry had a little lamb, it's a slow process, I'm getting too old for this :) |
