As an Item Artist at Playfish China you will be creating assets for several of our games so you need to enjoy switching frequently between different art styles and type of games. You will have a chance to contribute to some of the most successful social games of today and we will welcome your ideas and suggestions for improvement.
We are looking for someone versatile, with strong foundation art skills, solid understanding of colour and the ability to take something from concept to completion. This is a full-time, on-site employment position in Beijing, China.
Requirements:
- Art degree or relevant game-focused portfolio
- Good eye for colour and proportions
- Able to adapt to different styles
- Positive and open for feedback
- Good knowledge of Illustrator and Flash, knowledge of Photoshop is a plus
- Some knowledge of 2D animation is a plus
- Passion for games is a plus
- Able to understand English
