Forgive me if the title seems misleading for now. I was working on an amulet and after messing up a few times, thought that it would look better as the letter "O" After deciding this, I thought, "you've already got an "O"why not just continue and make it an entire title?" So I am, but before I continue, I'd like to get some crits before I do something stupid like continue with a fail method and botch everything up... So without ado:

There is much more work to be done, so please, spare no detail.

Firstly, smooth out the circle. Looks like you used the circle tool, which is fine, but you need to clean it up and make it a nice circle. Right now it is jagged and wonky. Second, you got a case of the bands! Different lines are "breaking" at the same point and giving the illusion of a line there. Fix it by breaking them at different points.

OK 1. Smoothing out the circle- Inside or outside the circle? If the issue is the outerlining jagginess, the image is eventually going to become transparent and smoothing it out would cause a dreadful "halo", if I'm correct, so how would I smooth it out then? And obviously to solve the innerlining jagginess all I would need to do is to blend tend the colors to smooth. 2. The BANDS!...what are bands exactly? and what do you mean by the "breaking"? I'm sorry, for the ineptitude. I feel like I should know this already.
