I seem to be having a problem when I upload my work to the gallery.  It looks fine here

...but when I upload it to my gallery some of the things end up all broken up looking.  I had the same problem with a kangaroo I did a few weeks ago.  It's tail is a mess in the gallery , but every where else it is fine.

If you look at him here his tail is fine, but in my gallery it does weird things at the tail tip.

I use photoshop for my animated GIF's am I supposed to be using a special setting in order for things to upload correctly to the gallery?  What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any help you can give!

I don't see any differences between the gallery pieces and these. What exactly do you see? Since when? Could it be related to the PJ version change? If so, clear your browser cache and cookies, if you haven't yet.

The kangaroo (both) does have a problem that we discussed before: some colors are replaced by others in some frames, esp the outline (sometimes black, sometimes brown or lighter brown): looks like that's related to your making individual gif files for each frame.

Thanks Manu, ermm nooo I don't save them as gif and then animate, I only did that to figure out what frame had too many colors.

I animate in layers in PS.  Love that darn animation window in photoshop, I do quite a bit of non pixel animating so yeah not the GIF issue ;)

As for dumping caches my browsers are set to auto dump everything when closed.  I don't keep anything in my caches.

In my tetris entry, the angled lines that the water runs down are lumpy looking to me here.  They are supposed to be straight.  Though I decided the lumpy look is kind of cool.

As I was typing....I checked them in IE (I rarely use IE)  I discovered they look fine in IE, but the lines get odd in Firefox so I think it is a browser issue.  Yes it started happening after the site update.  So maybe some kind of script in the gallery that is not compatible with Fire Fox browser.

For sure an issue with Firefox, because everything looks nice and sharp in IE and edges look blurry in Firefox.  I will remember that in the future when uploading images.

You  help me so much I must promote you to mod ha ha.

Thank you ,thank you, thank you for all of your help with everything.

You're welcome...

Then it looks like the browser zoom filtering issue, unrelated to the PJ changes.
In case you're not aware of it, all recent browsers blur images when zooming. Your IE version is probably old.
Firefox 3.6 has a fix, provided websites implement it. PJ did for the gallery, not the forum.
Update to 3.6 and check your gallery.
