Yes, this is a High Priest from Ragnarok Online before anyone tries to be smart.

So, I was dumb. I couldn't quite get the leg positioning right in my original sketch, so I just went ahead with drawing the outfit. As you might have guessed, I still ran into problems when I tried to tackle the legs again.

Legs are the bane of my existence.

If someone could please give their input on how legit these legs are, I would really appreciate it. Any other feedback is also welcome and would help me out a lot. Thanks.

the legs seem really tall in comparison to the torso.
also maybe the thighs could be a little thicker? worth trying out at least, i'm too lazy to google references and see if my crits hold any water :P

Agree with Cure. Also I think the pose is very upright and stiff, as compared to, say, http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/49879.htm# - this . Good lines nevertheless.

Hey i made a little edit to help you out with your proportions... i don't think you need to start all over... first off, his legs were too long, not by much though, the is a thin guy... it was emphasized by his short arms and torso. as for the legs your forgot about something, even with thin guys the hips extend past the rest of the body (i'm a bigger guy, so i notice things like that)... overall, not bad, just keep in mind that his left (our right) leg will be covered by the 'gown?' so don't worry about its anatomy too much...

also i rotated the leg, because it was a little akward being straight on, when the rest of his body was so angular...

Hope this helps!

I agree that the current looks acceptable, but I don't think it's an awful idea to start over, since the pose is a bit bland (a straight vertical line, rather than contrapposto or some other variant where the spine is less aligned- unless the rigidity is central to the character, being a noble aristocratic lookin' fella).
I think that's a great leg edit, but I preferred the foot in its former position, and the groin could use some slimming down.

i didn't pay any attention to the groin area in my edit, i didn't think about it...

Thanks everyone for your help with the last version. I really appreciate it. ;o;

Well, here's the new and better (?) version. As always, the legs are an issue again and I need help to make sure they don't look wrong before I continue.

Currently equipped: Sword Mace and Pantie! 8D

I'm sure some of you are WTFing about the Sword Mace, so here is a reference:

It's basically a stick with three blades on it. Somehow, it passed as a mace, lol.

This sprite was originally going to be huge, but I resized it when I realized that it was about twice as large as a Guilty Gear sprite. ._. Might be suitable for a portrait, but I might do something more head-on to illustrate his face better.

Thanks again for all the help.
