1. Company Info
Playful Minds in San Jose, CA. Darrin Adams: Designer/producer. Robert Costello: Tech Guru We are just a couple of guys who like making stuff in our spare time. My wife is an artist but she prefers to do the cuter stuff. :P
2. Job Info
We are making a new game, called Alien Apocalypse, for the Android (and eventually iphone). It is a realtime space strategy game which is nearly playable. We are releasing it in stages; the first stage should be in about 2-4 weeks.
Our hope is to find an artist that will work with us for the next few months. This is just the artwork for beta 0.1 and 0.2.
Art style: We are computer rendering the planets and backgrounds. See this as an example of our target:

The ships should be non-directional, just things that float facing the player. Blinking lights are okay. I hope they can be a bit 3D-esque (not cartoonish).
v 0.1 Logo / Font: Alien Apocalypse (This is optional for you. We have a font, "sea dog," picked if you can jazz it up or come up with better that would be great). Android Icon: 48x48 PNG with transparent background. Alien Facial Portraits x3; 80x80 pixel; 1 human, 2 alien Player Ships x 3; 40x40 pixel; cross hatch 3d style, blinking lights would be great. Non-directional. Alien Ships: x3; 32x32 pixels; blinking would be nice, non-directional. Buttons: 60x60 for Missile, Beam, Laser, Aggressive, Flexible, Defensive (these last 3 are stances of the ship).
3. Paid or not? and salary info?
Paid. Under $60 please, plus free version of the game. We would be happy to use www.vworker.com to escrow the funds.
