I started making these for the ADR guys http://phpbb-adr.com/adr/ - http://phpbb-adr.com/adr/
I still need to make armor but I dont know how im going to pull it off since I cant seem to get the human body right :( I also made a bunch of phpbb buttons
I think I have a few more (including a bunch of rank images), im going to die -------------  got game?

i must say your work are very nice! i think the colours of the gold icon are a bit strange.. maybe you can refer to: and gd luck for ur other icons! =] |

these are old, but maybe they could help you. i dont think its smart to make full body armor, people might think its a robot or something =P.. wel unless they specifically asked FBA, i'd go with just a simple thing like these 2 and just a small thing, the axe looks very blunt to me, maybe make it less round? its allmost a hammer =P ------------- ▄▄█ ▄▄█ ▄█▄ ▄█▄ |

thankyou. I did not want it to contrast that much though, this is another type of gold that I do but I didnt want my icons to contrast this much

I was not going to do full body armor all I need is the chest, gauntlets and a helm, I think I can pull off the helm?

ok the 1st one is a helm 2nd/3rd are.. robes? 4th is a piece of parchment? 5th a lego 6th wheat? or grain of whatever they make bread from then lotsa coins and a stone thingy...
they don't look much armor to me, to be honestly, i figure th last ones are the armorfabrics? just try those regular armors dude =P ------------- ▄▄█ ▄▄█ ▄█▄ ▄█▄ |

no, dude, im serious, it's hard to make out those last couple of icons the 1st three are pretty recognizeable, but i am sure you can do better on the last thingies and i didn't mean to be a dick, i just tried to give you an extra factor to try making armor-armors instead of just icons of the materials

| I have to say, I'm particularly fond of the engraved effect on the buttons with words, nice job! :) As for the bow, one thing I though of is to make the bg slightly darker, to emphasize the thread, but then I suppose you'd have to darken every button, which you probably don't want to do, lol. In any case it's still fairly recognisable as a bow, so I wouldn't worry if I were you. |

just inventory items, i had been using ragnarok online pieces for a whie but im getting good enough that I can start making my own, which I did

The pectoral plates on the chest armour look too far to the right...
they make the whole thing looked skeweed man, shift them over a

I think you could improve most of these icons by using a better AA. Several of them do not look smooth enough to me. The fact youre using a black outline followed by a white one also makes it even more rough, imo. Now this is a preferencial thing, but I believe that you should use a higher level of dark to add to the contrast. Besides that, good job overall :) |

more aa means more colors, more colors means more bandwidth, more bandwidth leads to the darkside :P I knew I was going to use alot of greys so to bring them out from the background I needed to add a border, this style border also allows me to add different types of items by changing the border, maybe blue for magic and red for cursed, see theres a method to my madness.

I originally set the top of the cloaks to be the hood down in the originals, Ill try to edit the hood ed versions at some point. I try not to dither much its something I dont always like to use *edit* hit your refresh ------------- got game?
