Hi, all. C: First post!
Anyway, I'm having some issues with the hind legs. I keep staring at it and I can't see where I went wrong. I even looked at some refs to get an idea, but any changes I make are for the worse. XD;
I'm mostly working on the legs now so they look all funky because I've been playing around with it. If you see any other issues, please point them out as well!
And ignore the file name. It's not really a llama. <<;;

I don't think its the anatomy to be honest, I think it's the shading. The light is coming from high up and the legs are underneath the wool like stuff which means it should be dark at the top/base of the legs.
Also try filling the farther legs in completely using the black, this should help give an illusion of depth.

I think you're right. I tried what you suggested and just took out the highlights on the legs altogether. They definitely look better.

Its really cute and well drawn. Leg looks better. Back ear bothers me.

What about the ear bothers you? I gave it some definition to see if it looks better? o .o

They don't read true at all. Both ears seem to be glued/Frankedolled in...dunno if its coloring, scale, placement which is why I was unable to define exactly in previous post...just off, imo.

I think maybe the shading follows the shape of the head too much?

Its because the ears indicate a different direction than the face is. Here's a 30 second paintover showing the direction the ears indicate:
As for the legs:
The leg doesn't follow horse/sheep/dog/cat anatomy, which is mostly because of that bulge on the back of the hock.
