My name is John Close, I'm the lead designer and programmer Liquid Frostbite Engineering, an indie group based in Nashua NH.
The game we're working on is a Side scrolling Survival Shooter, Playing similarly to Streets of rage, or more recently, Castle Crashers, but including guns. Concept art can be retried on request. Though its not finalized. I'm recruiting right now.
There are technically 3 positions open(but an ambitious person could apply for both of them)
a High Quality Menu Artist - 5% a GUI designer - 5% a Oblique Building designer - 10%
a Natural Environment Designer - 10% a Character and Item Designer. - 20% the Art Department has a 50% cut of the Income from game sales, cut as shown. these values are because of the amount of work involved in them.

DIFFICULTIES WITH EACH JOB ARE BELOW:
High Quality Menu Artist: will design the Menu art, Background(s), Settings Menu Graphics, Menu Buttons, etc.
GUI Designer: will only be designing the specific images inside a template to accompany the current Inventory and Status screens, you will also be designing the font that will be used across the Game in various sizes. both of these will be in a minimum of 4 colors. this will also include the graphics for in game mapping.
Oblique Building designer: The Difficulty with this is that the tiles all of which are 32x32, must be objective in nature, the game engine will employ a Vast Building Generator, which will create buildings of various shapes and decoration, I can explain further if interested.
Natural Environment Designer: Similar to that of the Building designer but will be working with natural elements, like trees rocks and water.
Character and Item Designer: the hardest of all the jobs. Similar to most new games, equipping an item will have a visual effect. So animating these sprites is a time consuming process.
There are 2 "states" walking and Idle There are 4 equipment poses, unequipped Melee Pistol and Rifle Meaning there are 8 states. walking unequipped vs idle unequipped etc. All of these are 6 step animations.
this means that the Base Doll and every Item will have 48 Sprites not including Combat animations. More specifics can be added on request.
