Hello everyone,
I am looking to pay an artist (or two) to create artwork for a game I am working on. I have previously worked with http://www.pixeljoint.com/p/5486.htm - Lackey from Pixelation and here, from whom I commissioned a sizeable amount of artwork. Hopefully he will be able to vouch for me as a prompt paying, all round awesome guy!
The game in question is very loosely based on the idea of Bomberman, however with many more game modes, power ups, other additions etc. Basically many more interesting things that would make this post way too long if listed here. It is cross platform, multiplayer and completely playable over the internet (so If you want to play it before making a decision please get in touch!). I need all manner of artwork done ranging from character animations, to level themes, menus, HUDs, etc.
I would prefer to hire artists that want to see the project through to the end i.e. complete a good deal of the work that is required. That said however I don't want to turn away any awesome artists and if you would prefer to just drop in for a level tileset, some animated characters, etc do please still get in touch! Thanks to Lackey I already have a general style established. I have included a few random images below to give you a idea of this style and the quality of work I am looking for. The 4th desert level tileset is a currently unfinished mockup by EyeCraft that illustrates the type of tiles required to compose a level of any shape.
If you have any further questions please get in touch. If you are applying to work on the game please include your rates and examples of previous work! You can contact me on deon@dbotha.com or by PM.
Thanks for your time, Deon.
