Hello Pixel Joint! This'll be my first time posting in the forums.
I'm working on some sprites for practice and for fun, but mostly for eventual use in games. They're all items or objects, mainly meant for platformers:

I think they should all have outlines like the chest, sign, map, and heart have - colored outlines are a lot easier on the eyes than hard black outlines. This is doubly true for lines on the insides of objects. The key looks a bit odd at 1x zoom cuz of its black interior lines for a specific example.
Nothing too exciting in any of them, but they're not bad either. Keep it up :) |

Here are some (quick!) edits: 
The first variation mainly incorporates advice from Zeratanus, the second from iMoose. The third is what has been submitted to the gallery. Note the addition of a pair of boots and a shield! |
