no crits so far. it'd be easier to crit if we had the reference though, and easier to edit if it was at 1x
looks great

The rear end is looking a bit unnatural and her back looks too elongated. Is this woman supposed to be thin/bony or busty/curvy?

Im not going for a 1:1 copy, trying to stylize it a bit. The back is definitely too long; im currently working on that. Her butts a lil too small too

i think the left cheek is a little to big, maybe it peaks a little high, even just a pixel.. i cant really find anything that jumps out at me, GREAT work!

red lines gone finally, still got a lot of touchups and finishing to do. her face is is a lot rounder than in the reference, but I think ill leave it, I sort of like it better.

Face is great. The arm, buttcheek and thigh lines are really banded though, try using an unbroken outline :)

The hair needs a ton more highlights. Right now it's a bit bland, and absent of contrast or anything really. Her underwear is a lot more transparent in the reference too. Also the strap going around her leg isn't curved enough to show depth in your image. The curve leading to that strap is a bit iffy, too much like a rational graph.
The anti-aliasing on the hair is a bit sketchy at the bends. On the right you only really have 3 slopes, which don't blend together well if you look close. The left is similar, but less noticeable due to the hand at the moment.

Lovely work on the skin, don't dig the dithering on the clothes a lot though.

Looks very nice so far! Though I'm not sure about the highlights in the hair since it seems now that she is older (since the hair is to much of a grey shade) than what you intended and thus far more unattractive Nevermind, It looked grey because I was looking at it on the bottom of my laptop which distorted the brightness. You plan on colouring it or leaving it greyscaled?

Nah, its gotta be greyscale; The project calls for me to paint this sucker, pixel by pixel; so the less colors I have to mix the better.

You're right she is sexy. My only complaint would be the cut off lines.
Reminds me of that famous sculpture without arms.

Oh, and I like the dithering on the clothes - it gives it texture.

If it's his post-event work, shouldn't you be doing "pixels with outlines"? Here's a http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/39101.htm# - couple of http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/39083.htm - pieces which use that.

The minimum size is 30x40 with 1 inch squares for pixels, Im not confident enough in my painting abilities to do anything more than solid blocks, and the project only calls for grayscale, so im not going to make it harder on myself than i already have. Plus I dont have all that much time.
