Hey! This is from a long time ago... when I had the feel for pixel
art and I still could do such things. (Seems latley I've lost my ability and I'm not sure why)
But... oh well.
Here's an "Island" I made a while back and never finished and I just wanted some pointers on how I could improve it!

"Art is never finished, only abandoned" - Leonardo da Vinci

Now while that's out of the way
To finish something, make sure you know what you want to achieve. In this case, an island made out of isometric cubes. Nice, but.. what do you want to show us?

First think or something, then create it. It just seems to me you wanted to pixel something but weren't sure what to pixel and just placed pixels along the way. And when you ran out of ideas.. you ended up with something like this.

Things to improve on:
  • Color choice! :-D
  • Defining your objects on the cubes, what are they? :-O
  • The cubes themselves are infact rectangles, try re shaping them? :-)
  • Try removing the black lines, too! >:-)
