I know there's no right or wrong way to way however, I wanted to see how so of you guys work?.
Firstly I do a sketch in pencil which I clean up and then scan, then here's the bit I like to know. Do you guys go over the drawing with the pencil tool and then tidy it up. Or manually place pixel by pixel the outline of the doodle?.

Cheers,
First one is a more painterly approach, was wondering with the lineart do you sketch it out using the pencil tool and then tune it up manually pixel by pixel?.

I do everything in the paint program, including sketching. I find it to be much faster than drawing by hand, then scanning, then resizing, etc...

Here are 2 WIP of mine where you can see the initial sketch, then I refine the lines and clean them progressively as I gain a better understanding of the forms and perspective of the subject.
But if you're really good at drawing by hand, and your piece is large or complex, I guess scanning could be a faster solution.
