Jay Eye Gaming is a new and upcoming Indie gaming company in need of spriters, so I figured this would be the best place to go!
Unfortunately, because this is such a new gaming company, there are no paid positions as of this moment. However, if you commit and become apart of the Jay Eye team, you are almost guaranteed to make money and come out on top if you stick with this company.
How you will be paid: Whenever the company makes money, whether it is through ads on the website, game sales, or even donations, a portion of the income will be given to you. There will basically be no cap on how much you earn, until the company takes off and settles, then salaries will be defined.
We focus on making computer and iOS games.
We are looking for spriters and graphic artists for various games. Either 2 or 3 spriters will be taken on board to this company, so if you're interested, apply right away, as it is a first come first serve basis (taking skill into account, of course).
Spriters must have SKILL. You must at least be able to sprite in a manner like Jump! Ultimate Stars for the Nintendo DS, although all of our games will not use this style, it is just necessary for you to have this style down. You must be able to take description of characters or places, and put them into sprites. However, please understand that you have a HUGE amount of creative freedom with this position. You're the artist, and you are always more than welcome to make suggestions in your work.
We currently have two games in the works (imageless, of course). One, being an in depth platformer with a unique and dark story line, with room for sequels. The second one is our money game. A game that is guaranteed to succeed, on both of our focal platforms. Nothing can be revealed about this game until you sign up and prove yourself, as information on this game cannot be leaked whatsoever.
We currently do not have a website set up, although I have already purchased the domain. A website will be up within a week or two, but Skype will be the main use for discussions for the time being (and texting, if you're truly serious about this position).
