Hey guys, I'm new to the forums but I've been lurking around for a while. When I edited my profile, I saw that there was a space for Pixeltees store accounts, so I checked it out. I want to ask you guys if anyone has actually earned from this site since at the moment, their proposition to pay 2 dollars per shirt sold is a little below what you can earn from cafepress, where you can set the price for your t-shirts. Can anyone shed some light on this matter?

I never heard of this before and don't really understand cafepress but I had a go on this one.  If anything I just enjoyed putting some of my old stuff on that t-shirt program (some of the color changes I had to make to fit their palette even inspired me)

So have you actually earned anything from selling shirts in pixeltees?

I only made some shirts yesterday.  I reckon it would be a while before anyone wants one.

My accounts been active for ~6 months and I've sold a shirt (which I brought :P).

To earn anything you have to have alot of people looking at your store (so thats why websites with lots of traffic sell more shirts then, say, GOOD artists).

I went pixel tees for convinence. I haven't seen the shirt yet cause I sent it to my bro for his birthday but he says its good quality.

I see, thanks for the info, guys :) I think I just might try it out just for the heck of it, I guess it wouldn't hurt anyone. The thing I'm bothered about in their policy is that you only make money after you've sold at least five shirts. And until you sell 20 shirts, you'll only be making a dollar each shirt. I'm just wondering though, how much would one actually pay for a T-shirt? Pixeltees go for about $15 USD each. I'm from the Philippines so I have actually no idea how much other peopla pay for shirts but here we usually get them for as low as $2 USD or less.

That's funny 'cause a lot of people here wished they lived in the UK or US. BTW, I'm talking about the cheap import shirts from China. I've been wondering what ZOMG stands for... OMG stands for Oh my God, right? so what does Z stand for? Zeus?

That's funny. Or should I say, LOL? So does that mean $15 a shirt is not bad for you guys? That's the basic price for pixeltees after all.

thats 7.50 GBP so yeah thats a damn good price, however people
actually have to like your designs to buy them, so make em good

Heh. I'm trying out cafepress now. Upload times are loong. I think cafe press would be more popular because with pixeltees the shirt is printed to show the pixels which would only appeal to a very few number of people. And all the shirts are white . Shipping for pixeltees is quite steep too. Not sure about cafepress. I'll check it out.
