I've been working on an RpgMaker VX game for some time now (roughly 6 months or so) and I really feel like it's coming along nicely. Unfortunately, since a lot of what I use comes from the stock material that comes with the game, It's pretty boring and doesn't have the unique flair that I want it to have.
So after giving it some thought I decided to do an over-haul of the battle system and introduce battle sprites. Sadly, I'm no sprite artist, so I've come to plead for assistance from anyone who may be interested in helping.
This isn't a professional game; I just want to make that clear. This is a personal project/hobby sort of a thing. If I release it, it will be freeware. However, I've put so much time into this thing that I would rather pay money then spend time learning how to sprite.
This is where you, the potential sprite artist, comes in. I'm willing to pay for your services, though I will have to be sure I'm going in the right direction before I invest a lot of money into it.
What I'm saying is that the initial job is small; Just one or two battle sprites. Then after that if I love the work and how it looks in the game, then I'll have to come back for more.
The style of the sprites will be in an anime fantasy style, so if you have experience in that realm and are interested, please email me.
