Damn, It happened again!

I was doing my stuff in MS Paint until suddenly there is this huge line ruining my work. No undo can help, it won't dissapear. I hate that bug! paint is so f**king full of bugs! Another bug is when sometimes you pick pencil/brush tool and lets say draw a red line on blue background, then it erases lots of that blue stuff around the red line. Is there any way to avoid these stupid bugs?

Or what do you hate?

"buy" photoshop, i havent found a single bug, and layers means you
can just erase a single layer not messing up whats below.
i used to hate those bugs in paint.

btw: u like benny benassi??

Photoshop has too much stuff going on. There are too many tools what I don't need and they are filling up the window space and so there are too many annoying windows what I still need because of like one tool... That sucks! I want space! I hate it when program has too many functions.

But I think I am still going to switch on photoshop because I am looking forward to learn digital painting and brushed texture creating, it just looks cool.

And benassi is quite OK, at least those sounnds with electronical feel and synthesized speech, excpect Satisfaction, there are better songs than that.

jasc paintshop pro 9 for the win

Its great, fast hotkeys, very easy to understand, export tools for png and gif both work with transparency and png work with alpha transparency very well.

It has all someone need and much more. Thats all i use for all my art need exept when i want to do some digital paintings..

Here's a tip: don't scroll with the mouse wheel while drawing. It happens to me sometimes and it's pretty annoying.

I get that too sometimes.. I don't even notice it for a while.  It sucks, I don't know how to fix it, so I always have to rework the parts messed up.

Don't draw past the edge onto toolbar. Also, scrolling the mousewheel can do it.

My mouse does that sometimes too. It goes nuts for a second or two. I'll have a nice shot lined up and suddenly, I'll be looking at the floor, spinning. I especially hate that it makes me spin. I don't mind the looking up or down, but when it makes me spin, I have to just hope I'm facing the right way again or else they have a pefect shot to my back.

GG is okay, might give some RAM errors on older versions and low ram people.(64mb, to me, gives RAM errors every 3 months or something like that)

Woa I cant imagine pixeling .. or drawing anything without layers

Anyway I was using Photoshop for long time, until my company started buying Macromedia packs. Now I go with Macromedia Fireworks (not-so-well-hidden advertisement).

But basically anything with layers, pen and fill tool will do.

Edit: Well ok ok .. line, rect tool and alpha transparency helps too.
