Disclaimer: Due to recent events with Kailis and the loss of my hard drive, Kailis is now on hold until further notice, it is continuing its legacy as a Manga in production. This game is a collaboration of ideas between me and TheFierceDeity. As a result we are working together on this piece. We hope you enjoy this game during production and play. The Story of Unseen

Aerico is a bustling world, more inclined on the focus of scribe work, manalergy, and enchanting of armor and weapons. Within this world many unseen events take place that affect Aerico... None however, can quite compare to the magnitude of this event...

Some beings within the world have been known to receive what many refer to as "A Calling". This is an insatiable phenomenon that will change behavior, thought process of good and evil, and push even a weak minded fool to the brink of death to accomplish the Calling... The source of these Callings are still widely unknown, the lucky few who find out the true source and meaning behind the Calling are never seen again, while most seem to simply be common folk who are not widely known, maybe among a select few friends and family...

Our very story is about a young and typical Runeshaper... Autumn Elis and her Calling...


Characters




Syne
Syne is what a mage would call a familiar. But to Autumn, Syne is much more a companion, considering that Autumn used her Runeshaping to free the bonds which held Syne captive to the well that Syne was unfortunate enough to fall down and die, upon impact, from her own reckless and childish behavior.

Even into the afterlife Syne really has not changed mentally, her behavior is still that of a prankster, but from time to time Syne has provided Autumn with help on situations that are beyond her capabilities. With that in mind, this was more than enough to give reason for kindhearted Autumn to release her from the binds of her grave. Syne considers Autumn to be her one and only true friend in life and afterlife.



Game Mechanisms

Unseen will focus heavily on the story as well as exploration. With these two concepts there will be much need of challenging puzzles with ingenuous and intriguing puzzle mechanics. Because our focus is on those 3 objects we have decided to nullify the use of combat, as it will not make sense due to the story and the type of world Aerico is. This does not exempt Autumn from meeting her demise via a trap.

Unseen will consist of 10 dungeons, primarily based on elements and a few off the wall dungeons. It will also be using only VX RTP to accomplish these dungeons. Attempting to utilize the RTP system to its extent. We will also use a few non-RTP things for story and puzzle purposes.


Hello,

I am Axerax (Michael) from Evermoon Designs ( http:// - www.evermoondesigns.com ). Me and my team have been creating RPG's since 2000 to the present. We generally work for free, but we do have a few paid commissioners. I work with the US Navy and will be able to fulfill this contract to the fullest.

We currently seeking a RPG Maker VX Style Pixel Artist for this project. You must be able to create unique sprites and icons as well. Details on how to work with the style will be given job by job. Those with prior spriting to VX or a VX style is preferred.

This job will not be heavily intense, but require you to create animation sprites for the characters. As well as multiple random NPC's, objects, icons, and animations.

This project is planned to have maps that are parallax styled, utilizing the sprites to the style. We currently have most, if not all scripts for this project, we need sprites and would not mind if the pixel artist hired would like to do a more fitting sprite style for the game. The parallax maps will be hand drawn and turned into CG Art.

This project will be paid as advertised. I am offering a contract payment of 200$ a month, 100$ every 1st and 16th of every month until the completion of the project. I am sorry that my payment can be no higher, I am already contracting an artist right now for CG and saving up for a wedding, until everything is taken care of I will offer this price, I may also consider increasing the payment once it is all taken care of as well.

My terms of agreement: I will be freely able to 'freeze' your payment when no resources have been received within a pay period.(This is to assist with those who have family/personal issues that are taking precedence over the job, not to hinder the contracted persons) Contract can be terminated at any time due to cancelation of the project or failure to complete the necessary work. I conduct payments through PayPal. I am flexible and if you have any issues or questions before, during, and after the task I am more than willing to discuss.

Work Ethic:

  •  I am flexible and will work with the pixel artist if he or she feels the need for these numbers to be lowered or raised to fit their standards, the price will stay the same. I simply expect an amount of work completed for each payment. The following standards are based on a general standard I recieved from another contractee from a previous project on the same type of contract.
  • If it is simple NPC sprites, I expect to see at a minimum of 9 completed sprite sheets or one compiled sprite sheet of 9, per payment.

  • If it is a specific character, I expect to see, depending on circumstance, all character animations completed, per payment. If there are more than 9 animations it will be divided up by 9 character animations until they're completed on that character, per payment.

  • If it is an Icon, I expect to see at a minimum of 18 icons completed, per payment.

  • If it is an animation, I expect to see at a minimum of 2 completed, per payment.

  • If it is an object, I expect to see at a minimum of 9 objects completed, per payment.
