Company Info
My name is Justice Långvall, 29, sweden. I run an hobby all-round production studio (music, graphics, programming, video) called "anti|HUMAN Designs". It is not a registered company.
Job Info
I am looking for a pixel artist who can create 40x60 pixel sprites of the player character of a 2D game I am working on. I am mostly able to draw the 20x20 pixel terrain tiles myself, but could use some help with some of the more tricky terrain tile types aswell.
When the player character is finished, it will be time to make other creatures aswell, though I have no details on them right now. The most important thing right now is the player character.
If you're a swede, that's a plus. If you're in the european timezone, that's another plus. But none of those things are required.
The game
The game is a 2D sidescroller freeroam/sandbox game in the line of games like Terraria and Minecraft, to simplify. It is being programmed in C++ using SDL, openGL, openAL(not yet), and GLSL shaders. It is targeted at windows only.
The game, at the moment, is almost playable, though it lacks content, and the GUI is not operational yet.
On the question of singleplayer or multiplayer, I would have to say that I'm not quite sure right now. I'm still considering it.
If you have seen the game Terraria, I would like to say that this looks similar, but with much more modern techniques. The light is soft, so it doesn't create a blocky look, which is the biggest visual/technical difference. The water isn't blocky, but moves much softer. Also, it is made in higher resolution, and it allows the player to run the game in any resolution (widescreen or not doesn't matter either), as opposed to games like Terraria and many other 2D games.
Paid or not? and salary info?
I am aiming at freeware, at the moment. That's the plan, though I might end up putting a donations-button somewhere.
In the worst case, I might be able to pay a symbolic sum on a per-piece basis, but I am a poor man with a family.
In the end, I am not offering any royalty or percentage of possible donations (or even revenue).
If the game does end up making money off donations (or anythign else), I will pay a lump-sum which we can discuss if you're interested in helping out.
Why is this? Mainly because I will be making 95% of the work (programming, sound, music, and art aswell), and also because I don't want to get tangled in any legal contracts or obligations, especially with people outside of my own country.

I use MSN for communication. (not the same email, though.)
company website
No, sorry, not yet. I do run a webserver, though.
I have a youtube channel set up for this, where I will be showing off the game and try to make people interested in it. The channel is youtube.com/antiHUMANDesigns .
Because I lack a player character sprite, I haven't been able to make any videos yet, beause it would look ugly.
previous projects
I have done work as 3D artist and game designer on various projects over the last 5-10 years. None of it worked out in the end. Though I am a programmer, I have never worked with others as a programmer. This is my first real attempt at creating a full game by myself.
On the music/sound side, I am an educated composer, and a long-time musical artist. I have recorded and produced many bands over the last 10-15 years, in my own recording studio (antiHUMAN Desgins), though as I am getting older, things have slowed down. I am currently more focused on programming.
I recently released my 3rd album with my band Zealotry. (youtube.com/grallator)
Thanks for your time
