I found this game-- http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/489337873/valor-seed-a-classic-8-bit-style-role-playing-game - Valor Seed --on Kickstarter a few days ago. It's designed to be like the classic NES Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior games. I think it would be a trip to play a new old game!

It's a Kickstarter project, so it's looking to get funded. It only has a few days left, so please consider backing it if you like it. You even have the option to appear in the game as an NPC, monster, or an optional superboss! I for one would be bummed out if I didn't get to play.

Hey!  This is actually my game.  I vainly searched out my project on google and found this here forum.

The kickstarter was a bust, but it was only to pay the composer, the game is still on track for development.

I am glad to see at least three people around who dig the kind of game I am making.

I am open for questions, if anyone has any.

Hey Wes, this game looks phenomenal!! I just actually went back through and recently beat FF1, and the first 3 Dragon Warrior games. This game looks legit like an original NES game, I LOVE IT! Your sprites and monsters look so great, very nostalgic looking. Do you have a website or blog where you update the status of your game?? Would love to keep tabs on it.
