I'm working on project that's using 16x16 tiles (tiles in game are zoomed to 32x32 tiles then).

First of all, I always had problems drawing a character and now that a whole character should be done on such a low scale I even have more problems - especialy with a head.

Can you suggest me something how to make eyes and lips normal? How to get normal shape of the head? How to get human-like head even?

Of course, all other critics and help about the whole character are welcome!

PS: Character is going to be bald

bsides the head, the pose looks kinda awkward too
the legs are bend in a strange way. also his left arm seems way too short and the right one is too angular
his upper body should be 1 or 2 pixels to the rights side

also u got to much colors for a sprite this small...
they dont help readabiltiy at all, i think u should stick with 8 colors max.
the dither is adding alot of noise and making it also harder too read

edit

note that in the first step i reduced the colors from 25 to (...i think...) 4 (!!!) .... and the change is barely visible
in the second step i basically just moved parts some pixel left or right, no major redrawing or something like that

Woah! It's tottaly different and way better...MUCH better actualy. Thanks a lot for the correction. I hunger for skills like yours!
I still have problems with colors and pixel position on low scales and I should realy get used to that. Maybe animating and aligning the colors of the character will do a great training for me.

Thanks again :) I'll post updates here when I make more changes
