I'm trying to do what it said if you don't agree with the non-approval of a piece; if I'm doing this wrong just let me know. ^_^
 
It was denied on the grounds of redundancy.  I realize that it may be redundant for some, but I didn't just make a final change that I liked and then submitted it as another version- I want to keep the original for myself and others who use compatible backgrounds/themes.  The one that's being denied was made specifically for people using the default theme (since it was pointed out by several people on the original that it blended into their background).  I don't particularly like the second version, and I don't use the default theme, so I don't want to overwrite the original.
 
If it still doesn't get approved in the end at least I can say I tried to appease them, afterall, it's not like I truly care about this piece (like I mentioned above).

PJ hates redundant pieces and the staff tends to have a hard time understanding why the are submitted. I can see your point but it is redundant. The RedvsBlue is a short project and most people make their own avatars so its just clogging the gallery. There is objection if you add the variation to the original art page.
The fact that you 'don't really like it' and you don't 'truly care about this piece' is more than enough for us ;)

While it was not me who sent it back for redundant (but would have) I will point out that we did add both your Canada and USA cats as separate pieces and while not strictly redundant they can be seen as such. I personally think they are different enough to be justified. This makes your last 4 pieces hovering around the gallery redundancy clause...a bad habit.

Move on and pixel new stuffz!
