Hello,

I am not so new to pixel art, but I haven't practiced in a while. Along with the first set of swords I am making for http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=12667 - Milana , I came up with a new sword. I'm experiencing a few styles, and I am unsure which way to go to complete the blade!

To me, Swords (metals) always look best when the contrast is very high.
Your lineart and colors are nice but almost nothing has enough contrast.

longer blades would be a bit more realistic. and swords with big blades need two hands to wield, necessitating a longer hilt.
