So umm, hey my names Jordan, you can call me slick but, I came here to ask some questions. I'm jumping into pixel art for game development, also as of a couple months ago, Ive been studying C++. However I'm not quite sure where to start. Im really into the AbyssWolf/CSW style example: Things like this: and:

I want to incorporate all these elements into a single style, but I'm not quite sure where to start? Any tutorials that I MUST see?(video is possible) or games that emulate any of these styles (even slightly) so I can study them? Any help is welcome. :)

It seems a good part of those styles (At least where they are similar) comes from the use of colour.
I'd take a look at http://www.pixeljoint.com/2009/10/03/2938/Pixel_Artist_-_Syosa.htm - Syosa's work , and how he uses colour.
