Looking for some advice on how to improve this title screen for my game.

(It will be displayed in x3 in the game)

Well, I'm not sure where you want to go with this. Are you going for a retro style? It does remind me about old computer games, so I don't know how much realism you're looking to put into it.

Straight off, I'd say that the dinosaur doesn't look like any dinosaur I've ever seen. The body is too thick and cylindrical and the tail is long and tentacle-like. The shading is very basic and it looks flat next to the knight. The grass looks a bit sloppy in front (more like tree leaves than grass) and the colours in the grass need more contrast, particularly between the two distant layers.

Still, I do think this is pretty cool, as it captures the look of mid to late 80's computer games. And I like the composition and the idea of knights vs dinosaurs.

Needs more contrast - your knight is getting lost in the mountains due to all of the blues and greys.
Also, the dinosaur seems like a T-Rex, but is much too small to be menacing.  Something with Raptor-like proportions would work better at that size, IMHO.

Changed the color of the knight’s cloth. Hopefully he will stand out more now.

Actually retro is exactly what I'm going for. The in game tiles and sprites are simple 8x8 sprites enlarged tree times. So I want something simple for the title screen too.

Right, tried to change the shape of it somewhat and shade it a bit more.

It's actually supposed to be trees. I want the knight and the dinosaur to feel like titans fighting of in the horizon.
I reworked it completely to try to make it look more like trees.

-More colors for the dinosaur.
-More contrast for the knights armor. Some highlights too.
-Crop the trunks of the trees and make it look like grass cause they seem so.
-Do you really need the pink?
