Hello pixel lovers!

I dont want this to sound too repetitive, considering there are tons of topics like this, but I am in need of pixel artists. I have begun a game entitled, "ViberVille", yet another habbo-type game. I do plan on hiring Dyne Labs/FizzStudios (The coding company that developed Jabbatown, which is currently up and running). And by this summer, I hope to have sealed the deal between them and I. I'm fairly close with the majority of the coders, and I chat with them quite frequently. I really dont want this to seem as though it is another falied attempt to make an interactive chatting game. I have paid 2 other inexperienced companies before, but they never delivered programming to my satisfaction. Unfortunately, I dont have enough money to even afford Dyne Lab's services. However, I am determined to earn enough cash by the time summer arrives. While earning money, I want to get a head start with the graphics, so developement will go as quickly as possible :D.

I am asking you, my generous pixel artists to lend me a hand with graphics, in order to assist me in completing this exciting project! I dont have much of anything to offer, but a staff position, and benefits on the client. I know this sounds like a load of bull! But it'll be a lot once we are in business! After release, you may choose to continue your help (for a small amount of cash), or you may end your journey with me as a graphic designer (you still keep your permissions). I am not saying you guys have to make this a big ole' occupation and devote all of your spare time with me, you just need to help me a bit. Im not so desperate, that I need anything rushed! But since I have plenty of time, I am only willing to hire those who are good :P.

Thanks for taking the time to read this over, and I appreciate it! Give me any positive feedback you have. I already know what the negative feedback will be! If you are interested, PM me with your AIM or MSN address. We will talk things over there.

Appreciate it,
Andrew

strange - the coders will be paid before, the GFX-artists "maybe" after the work is done...

In other words...
I posted this, this was my FIRST and LAST post here. I just dumped this advertising here and I do NOT plan on returning to see how badly you guys flame me... For those of you interested, PM me with some examples of your work because that is the ONLY way in hell you are ever going to hear from me again...

Nice...
I don't think I was ever THAT skeezy... I know I have TRIED to get free artwork before, I just hope I NEVER came across like that... sheesh!

In response to you both:

I dont expect people to put in much time or effort, I am simply requesting a bit from many people, in order to get my desired amount. Therefore, I wouldnt be able to pay someone much, considering I dont want much from any one person. This is a team effort.

And I do plan on coming back on these forums, and I really dont understand how you got the inference that I wouldnt. Sounds a tad odd that youd make such an assumption based on one passage i've written.

Well, when your ONE passage you've written is the first passage you've written, it's a little hard to stomach...

If you do plan on coming back? Great...

If I 'got' you all wrong? Forgive me... It's just what I see happening here alot...

Good luck to you either way...
