Hello friends! I have a pixel art for you to help me, is the Tree Burn, but I think I posted is not at the level of PJ. I need help in the tree, and especially in the fire. And I have already defined a palette where I can not change anything.

So that, I thank anyone who can help!

edit: I need ideas or edits up to Saturday. If you can at least show a technique I thank you very much.

The reason it was probably sent back is that you only have the idea and the first stage of your pixel.

What specific technique to use at this point is not that important since you are still learning them all. I would suggest you stay away from your current dithering 'comfort zone' and explore other things.

*I think making an edit for you would not help you so I'll let you fight your own battle for now, k*

Your colors need some adjustment as you have virtually no contrast nor much hue/value changes.

http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/65898.htm - THIS tree was submitted today and is worthy of study not just for coloring and shaping but for colors and their usage.
On this piece you commented " Good colors, good contrast, good anatomy. Amazing! :)"
Ask yourself why this is your opinion then bring that to your piece.

firstly, you need to turn your green slime, alien eggs whatev. into a tree :)  I recommend redrawing where you have your tree cut off.  Maybe give us more some branches or part of the trunk to look at.  Leaves would help ;o
Fire isn't blue :D unless it has lots of oxygen...  You need reds, orange, yellow, maybe even some white.  ˚¬˚

I have to use only those colors people! It is a promotion that the user has a palette for all to use and that's it. Fire as Water or water as fire.

if you can only use these colors, then why pixel fire? do you have to pixel either fire or water?  That palette is really strange.  Too many shades, not enough colors.  Maybe a far away island in the ocean?

The palette is really bad, but it was decided that the team right. And the user who is a good pixel artist, I can tell.

In that case pixel using the lightest blue color and the darkest blue.
Use all other colors minimally.

I finished!

It was good?

yes, well done!  It is a million times better.  The blue spots in the tree don't work too well though.  you could add detail in the tree with the darker green

Also, it still isn't a tree yet.  Looks like a bush on fire.

ya really much much better than ur first version..
u shouldnt only make the fire be behind the tree.. it makes it look more like some sort of halo like this...
but some flames on the front aswell
also now it more like a burning bush...
why not implement the trunk of the tree ?
also that give some possibility for a more exciting background...

and yeah.. the palette is horrible

I'm sorry luizfelipespr , but it still doesn't look like a tree

Are you constrained to these dimensions or can you add some height so you could add a trunk? otherwise, maybe you should make your tree smaller to give yourself more room? without a trunk and maybe a root, it won't look like much of a tree.. perhaps you can try adding a branch?

Good luck, buddy. I can see you're really trying to get this right.

You're significantly lacking on being able to convey your forms (but you can get better at this!).
I'd suggest reading(and practicing!) some general drawing lessons/principles.
I tried to do a quick search online for some, but they're harder to find than I expected:
http://www.anticz.com/drawing1.htm - http://www.anticz.com/drawing1.htm
http://www.artinstructionblog.com/drawing-lesson-a-theory-of-light-and-shade - http://www.artinstructionblog.com/drawing-lesson-a-theory-of-light-and-shade
Apply these basic principles to your work and you should see your art become more readable.
keep at it, dude.
